Job Description

Role: Database Developer/Engineer

Location: Remote (Flexible Work Arrangement)

Duration: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide BAU support for the application, including investigation of business logic in PL/SQL.
  2. Raise release tickets and coordinate with various teams for database patches on weekends.
  3. Migrate the application to AWS/RDS.
  4. Perform database performance tuning and monitoring.
  5. Design and implement database code.
  6. Interface with production DBA, SA teams for technical support.
  7. Coordinate with PM team for Geneos monitoring and Autosys scripts and scheduling setup.
  8. Responsible for database activities, including data copy, database security, and database troubleshooting.
  9. Strong expertise in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
  10. Strong expertise in DBA activities, including Oracle performance tuning and database trouble shooting.
  11. Good knowledge in Linux and experience creating shell scripts.
  12. Experience in AWS/RDS is a plus.
  13. Experience in creating Jules build for database deployment is a plus.
