Job Description

BAE Systems USA is seeking a highly skilled LRASM (Production/Development) Contracts Manager to join our dynamic Contracts team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of mission-critical capabilities across a diverse portfolio of government, commercial, and international end customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead proposal teams and provide analysis of solicitations to ensure the company's greatest opportunity to obtain contract awards.
  • Establish and manage negotiation strategies, and financial requirements, conduct negotiation of contracts requiring a high degree of negotiation expertise.
  • Administer all aspects of assigned contract or purchase order processing, including accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments, receipts, and delivery schedules.
  • Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Develop solutions to complex contracting issues, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Current Secret/Top Secret Clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Eight (8) or more years of directly related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with direct USG and commercial contracts.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with diverse work teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property law and policies.
  • FAR/DFAR knowledge and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, MSA, and/or JD degree.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certification.
