A Wire Cutter at Sonepar is responsible for precision cutting, coiling, and labeling wire to meet customer specifications. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut wire to the exact length required on customer orders
  • Label and deliver wire to the designated staging area
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the wire room
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines
  • Multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion
  • Follow instructions and guidelines with minimal supervision
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or electrical distribution setting
  • Strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally
  • Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic
