Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with specialists to ensure comprehensive care. You will also be responsible for working seamlessly with other healthcare team members to support VA quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess a degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in allopathic medicine or osteopathic medicine. You must also have a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Additionally, you should be proficient in spoken and written English and have board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine/Family Practice by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or America Board of Family Practice (ABFM).
