Seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team at Focus Staff. This contract/ temporary/travel position offers the opportunity to work in Atlanta, GA.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced MRI Technologist with a passion for Interventional Radiology. As a Travel MRI Technologist Specialist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol, including placing specified coil close to the area of interest.
  • Operate imaging and other equipment devices to ensure optimal diagnostic services are provided.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • At least 2 years of regular (20 hours or more per week) continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist.
  • A license in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Fully proficient in MRI and knowledge of required protocols for performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
