We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Recovery Centers of America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals struggling with mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Conduct comprehensive family assessments to identify potential risk factors and develop strategies for prevention and intervention.
- Prescribe and manage medications, as well as provide education to patients and their families on medication management and adherence.
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychiatric-mental health nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least 3 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
- Valid RN license in the state where you will be practicing.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of psychiatric-mental health nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
