We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Float Nurse II in the Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care departments. As a Float Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical settings, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provide routine and complex care to patients in accordance with their treatment plans, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the patient's physical, psychosocial, social, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in unit-specific competencies and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety, quality care, and efficient patient flow.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, using electronic medical records and other documentation tools.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and care delivery.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in Medsurg/Telemetry and Intermediate Care, with a strong focus on patient care and clinical skills.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or compact required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Full-time position with a TBD work schedule.
