University of Miami is seeking a Registered Nurse II - Chemotherapy Infusion to join our team.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse II - Chemotherapy Infusion to provide high-quality patient care in our infusion department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemotherapy administration and infusion therapy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate patients to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns to physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
- 2+ years of experience in chemotherapy infusion or a related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course
