About the Role

Lumen Inc is seeking a highly skilled Building Access Specialist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in acquiring new building access agreements to support our short and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and successfully close Building Access Agreements in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Legal to negotiate legal requirements and finalize Building Access Agreements.
  • Manage the acquisition of Building Access Agreements and telecom access leases for new service locations and modifications to existing agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network growth in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage and coordinate responses to Facilities-related problems or client requests.
  • Report performance metrics for site access.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate markets and provide market data and intelligence to business units on real estate activities relevant to the telecom market.
  • Provide building access fee estimates for new service projects.
Requirements
  • Experience negotiating complex real estate transactions, preferably with client service experience in a telecommunications company or corporate real estate services firm.
  • Experience in facilities and project management with demonstrated capabilities in managing complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver project results within budget constraints.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and ability to provide solutions to building access issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with key partners.
  • Demonstrated organization skills to manage simultaneous projects across a large real estate portfolio.
  • Results-oriented, customer-focused, self-motivated with lots of initiative and creativity.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with IT applications including Project Management and Real Estate Database systems.
  • Strong time management and task-juggling skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role varies based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, and compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location-based pay ranges are as follows:

  • $80,510 - $107,340 in states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, SD.
  • $84,740 - $112,980 in states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, WY.
  • $88,980 - $118,630 in states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, RI.
  • $93,210 - $124,280 in states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA.
