Clinical Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain initial patient information and document accordingly
- Assist patients with unit tours and orientation
- Perform searches of patients and their belongings
- Collect lab specimens and prepare for transport
- Participate in structuring the therapeutic milieu
- Document patient observations and interventions
- Provide patient care and support services
- Assist with patient activities and groups
- Follow treatment team decisions and guidelines
- Licensure or certification in a relevant field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical support role
- Associate's degree or 2 years of college equivalent
- 2 years of hospital experience
