We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at WellStar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of computed tomography (CT) scans, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
- Operate CT scanners and other equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency and adhering to safety protocols.
- Position patients for exams, using proper technique and positioning devices to ensure accurate and comfortable imaging.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and any relevant notes or comments.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
- ARRT Radiography certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in a CT or MRI environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
