Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in a home and clinic setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Administer and interpret results of standardized assessments and tests
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote patient independence and participation in daily activities
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university/program
  • Current and unrestricted license in the state of practice
  • Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Completion of accredited Occupational Therapy Program
  • Current CPR certification
  • One (1) year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
  • Pediatric experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in a pediatric setting
  • Experience working with children with complex medical conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
