Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists with prescription filling, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and customer interactions
  • Ensure a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations and customer service

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling
  • Prefer good computer skills for efficient record-keeping and inventory management
