We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at AdventHealth La Grange. As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit, ensuring their safety and comfort during the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred or currently enrolled in BSN Program; must be willing to obtain BSN within 3 years from date of hire.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Previous PACU or Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
