Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist to manage complex procurements of multimillion-dollar engineered projects.

About the Job
  • You will lead the preparation and review of bid request packages, evaluate bids, prepare recommendations for award, and confirm awards.
  • Continuous progress review, change management, including claim management, and communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Purchase Order administration includes management of claims, and communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • You will oversee the development and preparation of project master purchases pro-forma forms, including legal and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Develop other commercial and technical data prepared by Engineering, Construction, Finance, Logistics, Insurance, Tax, and other procurement functional groups.
  • You will lead the development of project purchasing procedures.
  • Communicate with Engineering to assist and/or guide them in the preparation of material requisitions.
  • Prepare, maintain, and monitor project bidder's lists, ensuring input from all Supply Chain functions and other operational groups.
  • Manage various purchasing activities related to the formation of purchase documents.
  • You will direct negotiations in the commitment of purchases for formation and administration.
  • Administer Order activities, including management of communications with Suppliers for compliance with Order requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or business field plus 10 years of relative experience.
  • Proficiency in conducting bidder prequalification, preparation of bidders' lists, and bid formation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the power/nuclear industry and market trends.
  • Expertise in cost analysis and risk management.
  • Skilled in working with and communicating effectively with other project functional groups.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $92.00-$102.00 commensurate with education and experience, paid time off, sick time, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
