About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Instructor/PE Coach to join our team at GYMGUYZ Des Moines. As a Group Instructor/PE Coach, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive physical education, skill-based training, and strength and conditioning programs to students in a local school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Design and deliver engaging and challenging physical education programs that cater to various fitness levels and abilities.
  • Instruction and Guidance: Provide expert instruction and guidance to students, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., exercise science, physical education) and nationally recognized personal training or Group Instructor certification (e.g., ISSA, NASM, ACE, ACSM).
  • Experience: Proven experience in delivering physical education programs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to different fitness levels and abilities, and a passion for helping students achieve their fitness goals.
