Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

This role involves preparing and maintaining equipment during cardiovascular procedures, providing patient care, and establishing a sterile environment. The successful candidate will serve as a preceptor for new hires and ensure compliance with safety certifications and competencies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care in a state-of-the-art facility. They must be able to communicate effectively and work well under pressure.
The salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
