We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Consultant to join our team at Mindlane. As a Business Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating material heightened risk activity in Trade Finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review Trade Finance transactions to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Work with large datasets in Microsoft Excel to analyze risk factors and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with technology partners, mid-level managers, and business partners to develop strategies and tools to facilitate risk reviews.
  • Communicate risk observations and dispositions to business partners to help them better understand customer behavior and manage risk.
  • Serve as an Anti-money laundering / Counter Threat Finance subject matter expert for junior team members.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in risk management, business controls, business operations, compliance, or process experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial crimes risk and Trade Finance products.
  • Ability to evaluate risks and communicate relevant risk in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including the ability to manage large datasets.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across business units.
  • Industry certifications, such as CAMS certified and/or *** AML/Sanctions Credential Program.
