Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Parts Authority. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.



Responsibilities:


  • Load and transport automotive parts to customers or businesses in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Take and follow directions from dispatchers, adhere to assigned routes, and use route navigation apps to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with customer operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns.
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Accept payments, prepare reports, and reconcile debt and credit related to deliveries.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicles and notify management of any issues.
  • Assist with other store/warehouse duties as assigned, including stock and parts pulling.
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety.


Requirements:


  • Current, valid driver's license.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and meet company insurance requirements.
  • Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with prolonged sitting.
