We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist 3 to join our team at the Kingsboro Psychiatric Center. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight to medical staff, ensuring the quality of treatment services, and providing advice and resources to lower-level facility medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and administrative oversight to medical staff, including psychiatrists, physicians, pediatricians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.
- Oversee the quality of treatment services provided by medical staff.
- Perform case reviews and provide treatment to patients.
- Provide advice and serve as a resource to lower-level facility medical staff.
- Collect and analyze data to enhance medication management on an ongoing basis.
- Must have possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State.
- Certification in psychiatry by the ABPN.
- Two years of post-board certification experience as a member of the psychiatric staff in a psychiatric hospital and/or in the psychiatry department of a general hospital, one year of which must have included clinical supervision of other psychiatrists, psychiatric residents, or fellows.
