We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team in Brentwood, CA.

About the Role

As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement direct therapy and treatment plans for children with special needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing direct therapy and treatment plans under the supervision of an SLP
  • Documenting and storing treatment plans, progress reports, and SOAP notes daily
  • Managing time efficiently between direct treatment and daily scheduling
  • Conducting research related to speech and language problems
  • Attending and contributing to quarterly staff meetings
  • Leading key initiatives for the SLPA team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in Speech Pathology or a Bachelor's in Communication Disorders with a current California SLPA license
  • Ability to build rapport with staff and patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, collaborative demeanor with excellent time management and organizational skills
