Job Summary:The Traveling Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent patient outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying and prioritizing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation, and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
