Last Energy Seeks Radiological Engineer

Last Energy is seeking an experienced Radiological Engineer to support the safety and licensing analysis for the PWR-20 micro nuclear reactor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine core and coolant radiological source terms
  • Calculate neutron and gamma radiation fields around the NSSS and site
  • Participate in interfaces with customer and regulatory authorities to obtain regulatory approval
  • Prepare and review safety analyses, calculation files, and associated records
Requirements
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Nuclear Engineering or related degree
  • 5+ years applicable experience in PWR or BWR radiological evaluations
  • Proficiency in MCNP, SCALE, RADTRAD, or other nuclear industry analysis code
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
