As a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our members. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and improving the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer, score, and interpret psychometric and projective tests to assess patients' mental health and well-being.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address patients' psychological needs.
- Conduct initial interviews with patients to gather relevant information and determine the urgency of their needs.
- Provide professional interpretation of patients' presentations and recommend appropriate treatment modalities.
- Render immediate guidance and therapy to patients in crisis or need of clinical services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, prepare reports, and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
- Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Two or more years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting, or a pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral internship, or fellowship at Kaiser Permanente.
- Current Psychologist License (California).
- Internship in an APA-approved program.
This is a part-time position with a set schedule, working 20 hours per week. The primary location is the Orange Rehabilitation Pavilion in California, with occasional travel required.
