We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Gastroenterology team at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after Endoscopy procedures with moderate sedation or anesthesia.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest Endoscopy procedures and best practices.
- BSN required.
- BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Excellent IV insertion skills required.
- Prior Gastroenterology nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Prior procedural nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Strong critical thinking/analytical/priority setting skills required.
