Compensation and Benefits

Our pediatric ophthalmology position offers a competitive salary of up to $340K+ production, with a productivity-based incentive plan after year 2. This plan allows you to keep a percentage of your collections, with an overhead of 57%. Additionally, you will receive a sign-on bonus of $10k-$15k, relocation assistance, and a generous PTO package with 14 paid holidays and 30 additional days off, including sick time. You will also receive $5k+ days for CME, paid license, DEA, state surcharge, professional organization memberships, and educational repayment assistance through our non-profit employer.

Responsibilities and Facility Details

As a pediatric ophthalmology specialist, you will be busy within the first 6 months with the current volume of patients. Our OPHT is booked out 3-4 months in advance, with a 95% clinical practice. Your schedule will consist of 4 x 8-hour shifts per week, with 36 patient hours, including clinic hours from 8:00a to 11:30a and 1:00p to 5:00p, and one day of surgery per week. You will have access to great support staff, including 2 scribes, 3 techs, 3 exam rooms per provider, 1 research coordinator, 2.5 photographers, 3 OPTs, 1 NP, and 1 Orthoptist per diem. We have a total of 12 OPH within the group, with EMR systems including Med Flow in the clinic and Cerner at the hospital. Our equipment includes 2 OCT-Sirrus 5000, Fundus Camera, Optos FA/Fundus Camera, 2 Humprey Visual Field, Goldman Visual Field, IOL master, Penticam, A&B Scan, 2 Auto Refractor, Heine, Patient Acuity Meter, YAG Laser, Argon Laser, 21 Slit Lamps, 2 Portable Indirect, Handheld Autorefractor, 4 Tronopen, Pachymeter, 2 Keratomotor-Manual, and 3 Lensometers-Automated/Manual. You will have the capability to purchase equipment if needed for the new physician. Call will be 1: Residents take first and second round call, and you will be on third round call.

Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a BC or truly Board Eligible pediatric ophthalmology specialist who must become BC in the specialty within 5 years of completing their residency/fellowship. You will have the opportunity to work with a great team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
