Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our clinic setting, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Perform various lab procedures, obtain vital signs, weigh patients, and collect specimens as needed, all while maintaining established standards and practices.
  • Assist Providers: Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with examination and treatment of patients, as well as with procedures and patient flow through the clinic.
  • Administrative Duties: Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist with patient-related calls, scheduling tests, and pre-certification. Document patient information and assist with medication refills.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by the provider.
  • Clinic Maintenance: Clean and restock exam rooms, clean equipment, and order supplies from the supply department.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform routine clerical tasks, including locating patient charts, filing, and completing routine forms.
  • Professional Development: Attend required meetings and in-service training, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • CERT (Certification)
  • LPN License in the state of employment or compact
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
