The Patient Care Technician is a vital member of the healthcare team at LifeBridge Health, providing technical and direct patient care activities under the supervision of licensed nurses. This role requires a strong foundation in patient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and direct patient care activities, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance.
- Assist licensed nurses with patient care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Conduct basic medical procedures, such as taking blood pressure and temperature.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course required.
- CPR certification required.
