Job Summary

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for operating various imaging equipment, including X-ray and CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate X-ray and CT scanners to produce diagnostic images
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning
  • Develop and process X-ray films, as well as maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a Radiology Imaging Specialist
  • ARRT certification and BLS certification
  • Experience with EPIC EMR and GE CT and PACS systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

This is a 13-week contract position at a Critical Access Hospital. The hospital is a busy ER with a mix of inpatient and outpatient work. The Radiology department is newly remodeled and equipped with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including GE CT and PACS systems, Canon X-ray room, and Shimadzu Rad/Fluoro room.

Pay Rate:

The estimated weekly rate for this position is $2286 per week, based on qualifications and experience.
