About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a Cloud Native Database Expert. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native database solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of cloud-native database solutions using AWS database services (Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Keyspaces)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance database architectures
  • Develop and maintain database administration scripts and tools to ensure database health and performance
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for database administration and development
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native database technologies in a production environment
  • Familiarity with AWS database services and cloud automation
  • Proficient in functional programming languages (including Python) and declarative programming languages (e.g. SQL, MYSQL)
  • Experience with containerized Kubernetes-based microservice architectures and performance testing platforms
  • Strong understanding of database administration and development principles
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $119,000 - $222,300 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, and a retirement savings plan.
