Position Overview

Salary: $25.50-$26.00 per hour

Position Title: Student Transportation Specialist

Work Schedule: Minimum of 4.5 hours per day, five days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Assist students during the loading and unloading process.

Compensation Package:

  • Starting pay is negotiable, beginning at $26.00 per hour.
  • Eligibility for a $1,000 signing bonus after 90 days of employment.
  • Annual safety bonus of $1,200.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of experience is required (with appropriate endorsements).
  • Ability to pass a level II background check, drug screening, and DOT health examination.
  • Possession of P, S, and Air Brake endorsements (Class B Driver License) is mandatory.
  • A clean driving record is required (no violations in the past three years).
  • Two or more years of experience as a school bus driver is preferred.
