We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at TMC. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Patient Care Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans to address patients' specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs.
- Therapeutic Exercise and Activities: Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities to enhance their physical function and promote recovery.
- Modalities and Physical Agents: Ensure the proper application of various treatment modalities and monitor patient responses to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and techniques for managing pain and discomfort.
- Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor patients' responses to treatment interventions and document their progress, communicating regularly with the supervising physical therapist to ensure effective treatment plans.
- Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current license/certification in the state of practice
