Position Overview
  • Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
  • Location: Beverly, MA
  • Compensation: $18 per hour
  • Work Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours per week (Monday-Friday, preferably either 5am-8am or 4pm-7pm)
Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and safety of our Beverly Day Program facility. Duties include:
  • Conducting general maintenance tasks
  • Assisting with furniture relocation as needed
  • Replacing light bulbs
  • Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and office spaces
  • Maintaining cleanliness of floors and surfaces
  • Providing assistance with cleaning and maintenance at other Communitas locations as required
  • Performing light plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains and toilets, and repairing faucets
  • Painting and other related duties as assigned
Training and Development
Participation in agency training sessions is required.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience in maintenance practices
  • A strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
  • Successful completion of company background and reference checks
Compensation Details
Hourly wage: $18.00
