Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Texas Children's Pediatrics. As a Triage LVN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in collecting patient data, including biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information
* Collect and document vital signs, BMI, height, weight, and reason for visit
* Document current medications, allergies, and other relevant information
* Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed
* Document all interventions and coordinate patient care
* Administer and document medication and immunizations as directed
* Maintain and prepare reagents appropriately

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED
* Diploma from a school of nursing or documentation from the Texas Board of Nursing
* LVN License from the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact
* BLS certification with American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications include triage experience and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing.
