Restaurant Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items according to company policies and procedures. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager and other team members to ensure high-quality food and excellent customer service.

• Prepare menu items according to company policies and procedures
• Maintain food costs and cleanliness of the kitchen
• Work with the Kitchen Manager and other team members to ensure high-quality food and excellent customer service
• Anticipate and identify system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in-house training
• Ability to work irregular hours under heavy pressure/stress during busy times
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry trays of food products weighing about 50 pounds for distances up to 30 feet

• Extensive standing and walking for up to 8 hours
• Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold
• Reaching heights of approximately 6 feet and depths of 2-3 feet
