**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist at Springfield Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an in-patient or out-patient setting. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

**Responsibilities**

  • Deliver patient care services using the physical therapy process, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Use effective communication skills to facilitate exchange of ideas for quality patient care with patients/families, medical staff, and community.
  • Adhere to professional standards and hospital policies, maintaining high standards of behavior.
  • Maintain competency through participation in professional growth and development activities.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (preferred).
  • Previous healthcare experience (preferred).
  • Current Physical Therapist license in Vermont in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of physical therapy evaluation, reassessment, and treatment techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems.
