Requirements:

  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students.
  • Ability to implement engaging lesson plans and maintain accuracy and organization in activities.
  • Effective support for students' behavioral management needs and ability to connect with students and foster positive learning experiences.
  • Approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with students.
  • Confident leader and positive role model who can utilize online platforms for training and resources.
  • Collaborative skills to work with school administrators, parents, and fellow coaches.

Additional Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Completion and passing of a Live-Scan background check and TB screening.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.
  • Completion of at least 48 college credits or successful completion of a Paraeducator training.
  • Ability to engage in physical activities such as running and other strenuous physical activity.
