Role Purpose:
This role is integral to the Production Management of Seals and Bushings, aimed at enhancing production processes through the development and implementation of technical improvements. This includes creating procedures, instructions, visual aids, and tooling to support our objectives in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost Efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process time and capacity studies, analyze downtime, and implement solutions to minimize inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to ensure a seamless flow of materials and maintain productivity.
  • Review and update process routes to ensure logical sequencing and completeness of information.
  • Identify and procure the appropriate tooling for production lines, ensuring timely availability.
  • Develop essential documentation such as visual aids, process sheets, flow charts, and AMEFs for traceability.
  • Train production floor personnel and Group Leaders on processes and best practices following any modifications.

Additionally, you will:

  • Oversee the development and analysis of plant layout to optimize space and eliminate unnecessary routes.
  • Work with Quality and Production teams to identify waste reduction opportunities and enhance productivity.
  • Maintain up-to-date backup copies of CNC programs for all part numbers.
  • Ensure the effective use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and facilities.
  • Monitor the application of the 6 S's methodology across all production lines.
  • Continuously review processes to identify improvement opportunities for equipment, labor, and time efficiency.
  • Lead improvement projects such as ANDON SYSTEMS, KANBAN, KAIZEN, SMED, and ERGONOMICS to achieve superior results.

Qualifications:
Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
  • Experienced in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Skilled in time and motion analysis.
  • Adept at interpreting blueprints.
  • Experienced in developing procedures and devices.
