Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Telemetry

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Unit Information:

The float pool is used in Med-Surg units and typically has a patient assignment/House Supervisor on duty 24/7. Charge experience is preferred. If interested in being charge, training will be provided. Modified assignments will be given when possible.

Unit Details:

7A to 7P (1 to 10) and 7P to 7A (1 to 15) nurse-to-patient ratios. RT equipment includes Cpap, Bipap, High Flow O2, Long term ventilators (only via Trach - RT maintains vent), IV pumps, sequential compression devices, pulse oximetry, and specialty beds.

Shifts & Scheduling:

6:45 am - 7:15 pm or 6:45 pm to 7:15 am. Director/floor manager will do the scheduling. Block scheduling is allowed as long as needs are met for the unit. Requests will be taken into consideration.

Weekend & Holiday Requirements:

Every other weekend and rotation with core staff for holidays. If long enough, the traveler's previous year's schedule will be considered.

Call/Standby Requirement:

No call or standby requirement.

Unit/Department Specific Orientation:

First day general hospital orientation, full day of Nursing - Orientation for RNs/LPNs, computer training (1/2 day for C.N.As, full day for nurses), two 12-hour orientation shifts with a preceptor, and an abbreviated Initial Skills Checklist due 90 days from start date.
