Oversee eCommerce Strategy and Architecture

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief eCommerce Architect Leader to join our team at Carter's/OshKosh. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our eCommerce strategy and architecture.

The Role: As our Chief eCommerce Architect Leader, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new features and functionality to improving the overall user experience. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design, to ensure that our eCommerce platform meets the needs of our customers and business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our eCommerce strategy and architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our eCommerce platform meets the needs of our customers and business goals.
  • Develop and implement technical roadmaps and plans to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers and architects to ensure successful delivery of eCommerce projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in web technology, including progressively more responsible roles and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as a delivery lead, operating in the code and delegating to others.
  • Experience with multi-tier web development, Apple/Android mobile app development, and/or Content Management customization.
  • Strong architectural, design, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
