About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Casino Cashier Representative to join our team at Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway. As a key member of our Player Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining the security and accountability of our cash handling operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Accurately account for cash and chip transactions, ensuring the security and integrity of our cash handling operations.
  • Process transactions within the department and other departments as needed, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform Player Services Cashier duties as needed, including handling cash, chips, and other forms of currency.
  • Understand and comply with Title 31 regulations, maintaining a thorough knowledge of casino policies and procedures.
  • Maintain security and accountability over all funds, including chips, coins, cash currency, foreign currency, and paperwork.
  • Observe and verify funds received and disbursed to other departments, guests, and transactions between cashiers.
  • Process table fills and credits, prepare and process exchanges, and compile information for reports as needed.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements, maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
  • Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, adhering to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cash handling and/or 1 year casino cashier experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Willing to learn and be adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to accurately identify and cash different denominations of currency, chips, etc.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
