  • Thermoforming Oversight: Supervise and refine thermoforming operations as part of the production workflow, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Leadership & Implementation: Provide strong leadership and guarantee effective execution of departmental initiatives. Cultivate a culture of accountability and high performance within the team.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful outcomes. Apply your project management abilities to navigate complex challenges and achieve results.
  • Urgency & Issue Resolution: Exhibit a sense of urgency and effective escalation when critical situations arise. Be ready to manage and resolve challenges swiftly.
  • On-Site Engagement: Maintain a significant presence on the production floor to monitor operations, support your team, and address any immediate issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Extensive background in molding operations, resins, and automation. Proven success in effectively managing molding departments.
  • Technical Knowledge: Profound understanding of molding management systems, resins, automation (Siemens & Allen Bradley PLCs), and thermoforming operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership capabilities with experience in holding teams accountable, managing urgent matters, and successfully executing projects.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work 7 days a week, including weekends, particularly during critical production phases. Flexibility in hours is crucial.
  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with the automotive sector is preferred and will be advantageous given the nature of the role.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
