The Medical Assistant will be responsible for managing patient flow within the clinic and assisting healthcare providers in delivering care to a diverse patient population. This includes individuals from various backgrounds and age groups, requiring tailored approaches to care, from infants to geriatrics.

The focus of the Medical Assistant will be on collaborative and supportive tasks as outlined in the scope of practice. Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication regarding patient progress and concerns.
  • Collaborating with supervisors and providers to achieve patient care goals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a patient-care environment - Required
  • Experience in Family Medicine/Primary Care - Highly Preferred
  • Pediatric experience - Highly Preferred
  • Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program (CAAHEP or ABHES) is required
  • BLS certification (AHA or ARC) - Required

  • Two supervisory reference forms, completed within the last two years
  • Note any work eligibility status if applicable
