About the Job

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Travel Medical Lab Technician to join our team in Orient, OH. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with experience in medical records management, medical terminology, and typing. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be proficient in using a typewriter or word processor and calculator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile health information by reviewing, cataloging, and checking medical reports for completeness.
  • Organize medical reports for filing and ensure all necessary reports and signatures are present in charts.
  • Prepare charts for new admissions and fill out necessary forms and requests for specific reports or certificates.
  • Compile and type statistical reports such as daily and monthly census data, admissions, discharges, and lengths of stay.
  • File reports into health information records and maintain accurate logs and filing systems.
  • Provide information from health records, ensuring the appropriateness of the request is determined.
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding health information records procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required for reporting.
  • Minimum 3 courses or 9 months of experience in records management; 1 course or 3 months of experience in medical terminology; 1 course or 3 months of experience in typing, or an equivalent combination.
  • Knowledge of health information technology, familiarity with regulations governing medical record-keeping and patient confidentiality, proficiency in medical terminology, and ability to use a typewriter/word processor and calculator.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
