El Centro Family Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Substance Abuse Associate to join our team. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we provide affordable, accessible, quality health care to the people of Northern New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide treatment and intervention services for individuals, couples, families, or groups struggling with alcohol and other drug use disorders.
  • Develop treatment plans, conduct case management-counseling, and make referrals as needed.
  • Assess and address crisis situations, educate clients, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in an addiction-related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with substance abuse issues.
  • Licensed Substance Abuse Associate (LSAA) licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling.
  • LADAC licensure.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
