Job Summary

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is seeking an Independent Optometrist to lease space in our stores and provide eye care services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage your own optometry practice within our store
  • Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision care services to patients
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain patients
  • Manage your own staff and operations, including scheduling and inventory
  • Meet or exceed sales and profitability targets
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9 form
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) degree from an accredited school
  • Valid state ophthalmology license
  • Administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services experience
