About the Position:

The Dispatcher I plays a vital role in our transportation operations, responsible for coordinating the movement of goods from our facilities to customers.

This role requires strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and ensure seamless communication with internal stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers
  • Coordinate with drivers to optimize routes and schedules, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency
  • Manage customer inquiries, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records and reports, using data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in customer service or logistics
  • Basic computer skills, with experience using dispatch and trucking software an advantage
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $56,000 - $75,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement savings, medical, dental, disability, and life insurance, and paid time off.
