Key Responsibilities- Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to all customers in the Floral Department.
- Oversee the operation of the department, including merchandising, rotation, and inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain the quality and freshness of all fresh flowers and live plants.
- Train and develop new associates in floral operations and ensure they meet company standards.
- Assist the Produce Manager in ensuring policies regarding merchandising and training are followed.
- Responsible for observing local market conditions and competitive activity relating to the Floral Department.
- Order all merchandise and supplies for the Floral Department to achieve company standards.
- Deliver flowers and plants upon customer requests and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and state sanitation and safety regulations and procedures.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
- Strong communication skills.
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- 6-12 months of related experience.
