About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Receiving and Merchandising Standards: Ensure that all merchandise is properly received, processed, and merchandised to meet sales floor standards.
  • Lead by Example: Model exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Train and Mentor Associates: Provide guidance and support to ensure that all team members are equipped to execute merchandising and processing principles.
  • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
  • Monitor Productivity: Coach and support team members to meet productivity standards and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Organize and Rotate Back Stock: Ensure that back stock is organized and easily accessible for replenishment.
  • Maintain Merchandising Philosophy and Signage Standards: Uphold the highest standards of merchandising and signage in the store.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • 1 Year Retail Experience: Proven track record of success in a retail environment.
  • 6 Months Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Superior Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to Work a Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
