Job Summary:

AEG is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Chef's Market. As a Barista, you will be responsible for serving beverages and food orders, promoting retail pastry sales and gift basket programs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve beverages and food orders in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Promote retail pastry sales and gift basket programs to customers.
  • Operate and maintain the espresso machine.
  • Ensure the quality and appearance of coffee order presentation.
  • Take phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage service role.
  • Knowledge of coffee preparation and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and bend and reach without restrictions.
